What am I doing wrong that is preventing me from enjoying this game? I think my mind works differently from others because I like to take my time and make decisions, and then watch as the battle is fought (which is why I like Total War so much). Apparently you have to move so fast and click so much you can't even watch the battles. Instead of constructing buildings that produce resources, you have go around the map and secure points to get resources, which really takes away from having big battles at focused areas. The pace is WAY too fast, and playing as the Americans, the German army has some really unfair advantages (they have better, well, everything). The campaign provides good narrative and decent mission structure, but man, playing skirmishes, I'm starting to think I wasted my money. I bought Company of Heroes recently when it was on sale because of all the good reviews.
